Super-DUPED-her!

How far would you go to get out of going to school? Would you...say...maybe fake an illness? Sure, Sharon, who hasn't pretended they were sick to get out of school? Would you...say...start at 11 o' clock the night before going to the bathroom every 5 minutes, let your mom give you an adult-sized dose of Cystex, complain in the morning that it hurt when you went to the bathroom, let your mom schedule an appointment, show up at said appointment and pay the co-payment, pee in a cup and let the doctor examine you (the whole time still going to the bathroom every 5 minutes), look shocked when the sample comes back negative, and still hold out that maybe something will show up on the follow-up culture test?
Grrrr...
Good thing she has me completely wrapped around her finger or I'd...or I'd...
Sigh...I don't know...

A+ in the School of Life for cleverness.

That is a scary level of commitment to school evasion. I applaud her. In a very parental, "that was not cool" kind of way. ;)

I had fat ankles (still do), so I used to fake sprained ankles. ALL THE TIME. "Mrs B? Karen Sprained her ankle, can you come and get her?"

All the time.

i once told my teacher i had to vomit, snuck to the office, told the secretary i was sick and my teacher sent me to call my mom, called my mom then proceeded to go outside and wait for her in the parking lot. i was in 2nd grade. i also once peed my pants on purpose so my mom would have to come to school to see me and bring new clothes. 2nd grade. mom was clueless. i love your daughter. she makes me smile.

Wow! I remember when Daniel was seven he wanted to get out of school so bad he got a few older kids to beat him up! He got home with an... intense amount of boo-boos.
